Jake & Russel are awesome. I have an unusual hvac heat pump install that came with my home when i purchased it. The hvac and AC have had serveral issues due to the unusual and poor installation. These gentlemen have come out same day and helped me fix several issues including fuses, transformers, wiring, a bad blower which they helped me replace under warranty and save $1300 and only pay for labor. They are quick to respond and very knowledgeable, courtepus and kind and i have had better experience with them than some of the bigger name/brand hvac service in the area which is why I have relied on them since i found them through the reccomendation of a neighbor. If you are in the bastrop area, these are the guys you want to call for hvac issues.

Huge shout out to Jacob and Russ Icy Hot Heating and Air Conditioning these guys are so incredibly awesome. They came out after hours today July 28 because my home was not cooling and the fan outside stopped. Jacob and Russ got to my home quickly and got straight to work and figured out the problem and now my ac is working the house has cooled back down and they will be back tomorrow to make sure everything is still running smoothly. If you need AC Guys these are the guys they are reasonably priced explain the problem and the best solution for the problem. Highly recommend these guys and I will continue to call them for maintenance and any AC issues when needed. Thank you so much for everything you are the best!!!

This company is amazing, EXCELLENT customer service!!!! Russel came out because our thermostat went blank and AC was not working. I checked everything I knew how to check and nothing thought it may be a bad thermostat so I went and bought a new one similar to what I had. After plugging it in it still didn’t work so we called Icy Hot. Russel arrived before the promised time and plugged in the new thermostat, the system went into “standby” and after a few minutes the AC started working!! I just wasn’t giving enough time. Russel did not want to charge us stating that all he did was “plug in the new thermostat”. We insisted that we pay him!
You just don’t find customer service like that anymore! I would highly recommend Icy Hot for any HVAC need!! These guys will NOT disappoint!!! Very, Very impressed!!!

I recently had my air conditioner repaired by Icy Hot, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and why. They didn’t just complete the repair, they also cleaned up thoroughly and made sure everything was working properly before leaving.
Their pricing was competitive and fair, especially considering the high level of service they provided. I’ve worked with many HVAC companies over the years, and I can honestly say that Icy Hot’s customer service is by far the best I’ve experienced. They genuinely care about doing the job right and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Russ and Jacob replaced our dual AC/heating units in 2018, in the middle of July in the WORST heat imaginable! We were up and running within a day after contacting them. Since then they have been maintaining our system without issue. Had one part fail over a holiday weekend and they brought over a temporary part and installed it so we wouldn’t sweat to death until the warranty replacement part arrived. Above and beyond! They are always on time and they are a pleasure to see every January and July when they come for maintenance. Can’t say enough nice things about Icy Hot Heating and Air Conditioning or Russell and Jacob! Kudos, guys! 💙

These guys are very quick to respond, honest and fair with their repair cost. I had another company try to tell me my AC was leaking and needed replaced when I had no issues with my AC. I was just wanting it checked out before summer started. They came out and checked my AC and found no issues with my system. About a month after that my AC went out late one night. They came out that next morning and determined that I had a fan motor failure on my inside unit.They had to get a replacement in Austin. They were able to make it back out on the same day to get the repair completed and my AC back on and running great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Icy Hot has been a great company my family has relied on for the past few years. Our system is aging and has now started to throw issues out (something different every time). That said, each time it has gone down, Icy Hot gets to the house in a reasonable time, and our system is up and running in no time. They are very professional and expeditiously narrow down and fix issues quickly, without throwing a bunch of parts at the system.
Their rates are reasonable as well, especially when I called them on a weekend and Jacob came out on a Sunday to get us back to our comfortable AC setting. I will continue calling Icy Hot over other larger commercial companies.

Never fails, most units fail in the dead of summer. Your unit it usually in over drive when temps have been over 100 degrees for weeks. These guys made a weekend call, yes people!!!! ON A WEEKEND!! We called around and we couldn’t even leave a voicemail, my husband called Jacob and they came in 30 minutes.
They spoke with us about different options. They were honest about what would benefit us and what would not. I appreciate honesty!
They even understand Texas heat is not kind and since they were booked with appointments all week, they came out the following day which was a Sunday. When I know Sunday is our rest day, family day, or tending to their own homes.
They treated us like family and they did everything they could to help my family stay comfortable through this summer and a few years more!

Russell & Jacob, seriously these two are freaking incredible!!!!!
In our Small engine repair shop we have a recycled oil heater, NO ONE in the great state of Texas would touch it.
Well these two took on the challenge, researched the heater, and in a matter of a few weeks had us up & running.
What a blessing these two are, since doing the repairs here a few of us have used them for home repairs as well.
Will never use anyone else for Heatin or A/C repair or installation, they are THE BEST !!!!!!!!!

I had Jacob & Russell come to our home to look at duct work and our a/c system. The system is 18 years old, so it's not a matter of if but when it decides to quit. These two are a wealth of information & knowledge. They took the time test the airflow in all the ducts and explained the dynamics.
They did not try to sell us on the same size system, rather they are working on the square footage and our layout to determine the right system. I write all this to say these guys care about their customers and helping them choose the best system for their needs. They are incredibly nice & care about their customer.

I've had a great experience with this company. They worked on a mini split unit that had an error code and wasn't cooling. They got it up and running within a few hours.
Then, I had them clean the coils on my Carrier unit inside as well as the outside unit. I was very pleased with their manner and knowledge on both units they serviced. Highly recommend these guys!
Also, I recommend them to my friend Linda Weber and she said "Best ac repair experience I've had. Would recommend them anyday . Basically got the job done in a timely manner ( weekend ) reasonably priced damn good job!!!"

Hi! We have mini-split (ductless) AC units that stopped cooling, and after seeing great recommendations on Nextdoor for Icy Hot, we decided to give them a try—and we’re so glad we did!
I called at 1:30, and by 2:20 (less than an hour later), they were already at our house. They quickly diagnosed the issue, were upfront and honest, and clearly explained our options with very fair pricing. By 4:30, our home was cool and comfortable again.

The Icy Hot guys are GREAT! We contacted 5 different companies to get quotes from them when we needed a new HVAC system a few years ago. Icy Hot was by far the most professional. They were the only ones who checked our insulation, and their quote was about $2,000 less than anyone else's.
Since getting our new HVAC system, we have noticed a big difference in our utility bill. Also, their service is second to none.

I have trusted Jacob and Russel to repair and maintain my older central AC systems for a few years. I've never felt that they were upselling me, only giving me an honest assessment of the situation and providing options. When one of my systems had an evaporator coil leak, they were able to replace the coil for a reasonable price and it's been running without issue for years since. I had an issue with my AC no longer blowing cold air during the night. After texting them at 8am on a Saturday, they stated they could be at my house at 11AM to noon to take a look at my unit. Their team ended up getting here earlier at 10am and 30 minutes later my AC was blowing cold air again.
After working with them, I will use Icy Hot again in the future. I could tell they pride themselves on fast, quick communication and their overall responsiveness to any situation.

Came home after a long shift and about half way through my day yesterday, my AC stopped blowing cold. Realized my unit outside wasn't running. Turned it off, grabbed my spare window unit (since it was late in the day) and slept miserably. HVAC issues were PLAGUING ME!! So I called the big companies. They came out and sent several vans and people. They fixed some things and it cost big. Week later I had same issues again, so this time I called Icy Hot.
Jake and Russel came to my rescue! They were super kind and courteous, listened to my problems and got to work. They ended up finding the actual root to my low voltage short! In the end they were quick, affordable and awesome. 20/10 recommend, if you got a problem give em a call!

I've known the IcyHot guys for a number of years now. Russ and Jacob have been wonderful guys every time I have called.
Very honest with all of our interactions, to include refunding to us warranted funds that we did not realize was coming.
They dealt with critters invading the circuitry, a frog in our case years ago. Today, they saved us before summer really hits with a new Capacitor and Hard-Start Kit.

I had another company out to look at our AC issue and they where pushing us towards a whole new system, however i wanted a 2nd opinion and called Icy Hot and the dynamic duo, Russ and Jacob came out quickly, reviewed the issue and had a solution.
